VN’s beauty wins Miss Earth 2010’s Bikini contest

Luu Diem Huong of host Vietnam won the first prize in the bikini contest of the Miss Earth 2010 pageant in the central province of Phu Yen on Nov. 20.

Luu Diem Huong of host Vietnam won the first prize in the bikini contest of the Miss Earth 2010 pageant in the central province of Phu Yen on Nov. 20.

Huong won the title of “Miss Cendelux Hotel”, one of the official titles of the pageant.

The contest attracted the participation of 80 beauties from 80 nations and territories around the world.

Huong said she was very proud to win the prize and would do her best to deserve the title, especially through making active contribution to environmental protection.

The pageant’s organizing board also granted certificates to other four beauties in the top five of the contest. They are Miss Earth Ecuador Jennifer Stephanie Pazmino, Miss Earth Venezuela Maria Angela Boannni, Miss Earth Czech Republic Carnen Justova and Miss Earth Norway Iman Kerigo.

The board also granted 500 million VND to the Phu Yen People’s Committee to support flood victims and gave 10 families made homeless by recent floods with 15 million VND each./.
