Appey Rowenna is the new Miss Malaysia Earth 2010 !! Congratulations to orang Sabah!.... Also my congratulations to Mandy Nandu for grooming a very good Sabah contestant. Sabah won the Miss Earth Malaysia titles for 2 consecutive years!..two in a row bebeh!....
She was 1 of the most surprised winner for me, despite being among the prettiest in the competition, Appey Rowena could be considered by many pageant fans here as the dark horse or under the radar queen. The attention were veered towards the original Sabah queen, May Salitah and Queenera (3rd place Miss Earth Sabah 2010) and also the very experienced, statuesque and gorgeous Penang queen Nicole Shan. To the record, she was only placed 2nd in Miss Earth Sabah 2010 last month.
The photo above seemed to correct itself on the placing of Miss Earth Malaysia 2010, so..to any aspiring beauty queens, when picture together, always put yourself in the middle position. Talk about superstition, hehehe, could not be true.
Congratulations again to Appey Rowena, u deserves the Miss Earth Malaysia 2010 title and I from www.pageantisland.blogspot.com will be supporting you all the way till the very final Miss Earth 2010 in Nha Trang, Vietnam this coming November.
Should anyone would like to know the easiest route to go to this unknown (unknown to most Malaysians) beach resort fishing town of Vietnam, pls let me know. I went there for Miss Universe 2008 and it's quite easy to reach there but one needs a proper planning coz you have to book flight ticket early as only 2 flights plying this Saigon-Nha Trang rout per day and it took only 50 minutes, and the tickets are always sold out. Should you adventure enough, can travel by bus from Saigon, even though it cost u only USD27 (sleeper bed bus) but please prepare to be in the bus for 10 hours journey!.
