Four stunning queens from the kingdoms of the UK were chosen to compete in Miss Earth 2009.

Dominique Dyer is Miss Earth Wales, Kayleigh O'Reilly is Miss Earth Northern Ireland, Kirsty Nichol is Miss Earth England and Sarah Finlay is Miss Earth Scotland.

These four beauties were crowned during the pageant final event at the Royal Leamington Spa in Warwickshire, England.

On the other side of the world, Lateesha Ector, of Trinidadian parents of Black, Chinese, Scottish and Venezuelan background, was crowned as the first black Miss Earth Canada titleholder at Les Cours Mont-Royal last Saturday, August 22.

A proud Montreal native born to Trinidadian parents, Lateesha has always been mesmerized with the art of dancing. As a young girl she was involved in classical ballet.

As she grew older her main interest then shifted towards her education, where she recently earned a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Concordia University.

These stunning beauties will compete for the Miss Earth 2009 beauty title in Manila, Philippines this coming November.
