Reigning Miss Earth 2009 Larissa Ramos from Brazil has now back in the Philippines to start her official activities.She will then travel to Vietnam together with Miss Earth officials to attend the official contract signing ceremony of Vietnam hosting the 2010 Miss Earth pageant.
The 2010 Miss Earth pageant is scheduled for November and Larissa is expected to return to Vietnam to advertise the event. Larissa is also planned to travel all over the Philippines and other Asian countries in the coming months.
On July, Larissa will return home to her native country to help prepare for the Miss Earth Brazil pageant to be held in Belo Horizonte this September where she will crown two young women: her successor (as national titleholder) and appointed contestant for 2010 Miss Earth pageant and this year's winner who will represent Brazil in 2011.
