Once again I was able to spend another wonderful weekend with my pageant sister, and life-long BFF, at the 2011 Miss Oregon USA/Miss Oregon Teen USA Pageant. For the past several years Kim and I have co-hosted and co-produced the pageant. As former Miss Oregon USA's we have such a great time, and are continually
awed and inspired by the amazing young women we get to know.
awed and inspired by the amazing young women we get to know.The 2010 Miss Oregon Teen USA, Cara Nardini and Miss Oregon USA, Kate Paul were wonderful representatives, had a great year, and really made everyone proud.
The State Directors, Bert and Carol Lukens are such wonderful people. They really go out of their way to make the pageant experience special for everyone.
All of the delegates were beautiful, inside and out, and any one of them could have taken home the crown.
Kayla Roush, from Scio, was crowned the 2011 Miss Oregon Teen USA, and Anna Prosser, from Portland, was crowned 2011 Miss Oregon USA. I wish them heartfelt congratulations. I know they will make Oregon proud.
