Miss Earth 2010 Hot Picks

The Miss Earth 2010 Coronation Night is happening on December 4, 2010, 8:00 p.m. in the evening, at the Vinpearl Resort Amphitheater in Nha Trang, Vietnam. It will be televised on international and local channels such as Star World, VTV (VTV1 and VTV4), ABS-CBN Philippines, The Filipino Channel and other local networks from over 50 countries.

This year's board of judges are the following:

Ella Bella - staff of Educational Organization in South Africa, also a youth ambassador for the Environment program of the United Nations.
Nenad Bratic - a famous architect of Aedas Interiors Company (Hong Kong).
Marie J.Y.E. Collart - an actress, journalist and is currently a spokesman for the American channel and French Stars.
Rachel Grant - Hollywood actress, now living in America and England, played in the movie about 007 Die another day and a number of Italian films, the UK and is known advertising faces in Europe, and Asia. Today, she is both activist for ecological environment as well as a participant in charity for cancer patients.
Karla Paula Henry - Miss Earth 2008, she is the first Asian and the first Miss Philippines to win the title.
Michael Jeffrey Rosenthal - famous photographer shooting for the stars in Hollywood. He was invited as judge of the U.S. television program America's Next Top Model.
Eddy Tan - Star World Group Chairman, FX, Channel V, TVN & Nat Geo Music Asia (this is part of Fox International Channels Asia).
Phạm Châu Sanh - Head of the Culture, External Relations and UNESCO under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam
Hoàng Đại Thanh - Editor-in-chief of Thời Trang Trẻ Magazine.
Nguyễn Quỳnh Như - A Vietnamese Fashion Designer.

The hosts of the said event are AXN's Oli Pettigrew, American recording artist Marie Digby and Vietnamese star Jennifer Pham.

Irish international pop star Ronan Keating is the guest performer.

Shoo-ins: I think Asia is ready for its second Miss Earth Queen. Miss Vietnam has a hometown advantage and we have to consider that Luu Thi Diem Huong is really a strong candidate. Miss India, on the other hand, can easily rock the final question and answer portion if she makes it that far. Or perhaps the crown will stay in Latin America with Miss Ecuador and Miss Venezuela as the possible contenders.
