Jacqueline Schubert: RP bet for Miss Intercontinental 2009

Recently-crowned Mutya ng Pilipinas-Tourism 2009 Jacqueline Schubert (who represented the Filipino community in Germany) left Friday last week for Minsk, Republic of Belarus where she will wear the Philippine sash as the official representative to the Miss Intercontinental 2009 Pageant.

Jacqueline, 19, will be competing against 60-plus other delegates from around the world for the crown currently on the head of reigning winner, Christina Carmago of Colombia.

Finals of Miss Intercontinental 2009 will be on September 27, 2009. According to reports, this year’s crown is made of platinum with 720 diamonds worth around $361,000.00 and is thought to be the most expensive crown of all beauty pageants.
